Dear Etniers
Only two weeks ago I learned, to my astonishment, from our Bagruyot
secretary, that the weight of the Magen grades has been changed to 30% and
the Bagrut grade is now 70%. Not only have the weights been changed without
noticing us, they were changed retroactively - and that applies to the
summer of 2016.
How come no-one talked about it? Or put up a notice? Or discussed it in
some way? It makes a huge difference! Since the weight of the Magen dropped
to 30% it would be now possible for students to pass the bagrut without
seeing the inside of the classroom even once. God knows we have hard time
as it is keeping them in class during the 12th grade and now it's going to
get even worse.
Has any of you known about it?
