I was asking if the teachers quoting their salaries were talking about gross
or net, as NIS 6000 (gross) for a teacher with 15 years of experience sounds
very low to me.
I want to reiterate that I understand why teachers are upset about this new
plan. Personally, I'm way beyond the point of getting upset by things like
this, because as you yourself state, they never work out and we're not going
to end up with more English teachers in the long run. This is just another
one to add to the never-ending list of quick-fix proposals that the ministry
likes to come up with.
