A.H.A.V.A. is offering its Teacher Training Seminars for
those interested professional development.
There are two different courses offered, both for 15 hours,
covered in three days, and costing 350 shekels.
One is for teaching Hebrew Speakers and covers curriculum,
games, techniques and songs to teach small groups of Hebrew
Speakers to understand and speak basic English. You will
leave the course with the knowledge how to teach children
from ages 3 - 14 in an enjoyable manner, while covering all
the basic knowledge they need to give them self confidence
to speak in English. In our course for teaching English Speakers
we cover a suggested and comprehensive curriculum from
Kindergarten through 6th grade, with a written curriculum for
high school as well. Books, materials, programs, methods, and
tricks of the trade teach you how to ensure that your students
know how to read, write, and spell in English.
Classes for teaching Hebrew Speakers will be on July 4, 6, and
10th at 9:00-14:30 in the library in the Baka Matnas. The course
for teaching English Speakers will be on July 17, 20 and 26.
