Dear ECHA Accredited Stakeholder Organisation,
ECHA is conducting a feasibility study in order to have a better
understanding whether it would be possible to build an 'EU Chemicals
Legislation Finder'. The study has been contracted to TRASYS
International (_see attached letter_).
Currently, a given chemical substance can be subject to several EU
legislations, but this information is not accessible from one single
entry point. This renders the access to information burdensome and
costly, in particular for SMEs that have to deal with chemical
substances as producers or downstream users. The creation of an EU
chemical legislation finder would address this.
We would appreciate if you could participate in this study by filling in
an on-line questionnaire where we map the scope, relevancy and
usefulness of such a system for different stakeholders.
The questionnaire can be accessed here:
https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/EUCLEFQuestionnaireASO2017 [1]
Some instructions on how to use the tool are attached together with pdf.
version of the questionnaire.
We would appreciate if you could submit the completed questionnaire by
21 APRIL 2017 at the latest.
Should you have any questions or need clarifications, do not hesitate to
contact us.
Thank you in advance for your time and collaboration.
Best regards,
Dijana Spasojevic
