Running Windows 98, here are a few problems with the R8 -
Occassionally have had the frequency freeze when trying to change it by
moving to another database line. Unfreezes by doing a direct frequency
entry.
When trying to exit the program, if the R8 is active, the program does "an
illegal activity", then you can't close the error window, or shut down
windows. You must power the PC down manually. To avoid this you must "un"
view the R8, then close the program. It also does not matter if the R8 is on
or off.
When first booting up the Pc, the first attempt to connect to the R8 allways
says "can't connect". Subsequent attempts allways connect. This also happens
with the RX320, and has allways happened even in ERGO 3.
Otherwise all the functions work great!!
