Dear ENSU members,

As the ENSU Fall Mixer approaches (Thursday, Sept 19 from 7-11pm at Innis 
Café), the ENSU executive is becoming more excited about the fantastic projects 
and volunteer opportunities we will be offering students this year.  We know 
you would like to become more active in the environmental community on campus.  
So here?s one way to become involved!  Several ENSU executive positions are 
still available and must be filled soon!  

Secretary/Office Manager

¨       Records and types minutes; files both minutes and agendas
¨       Notifies executive of correspondence (phone messages and mail)
¨       Posts minutes on day before exec meetings
¨       Responsible for scheduling office hours of exec members
¨       Maintains a list of active ENSU members
¨       Maintains office (including purchasing office supplies when necessary)
¨       Participates in coordinating ENSU events
¨       Acts as a representative of the organization at fairs and forums
¨       Must be reliable and above all ENTHUSIASTIC

Webmaster

¨       Must have skills and knowledge associated with website development
¨       Responsible for the maintenance of the ENSU website and any related 
listservs and email accounts
¨       Maintenance of computer when necessary
¨       Participates in ENSU functions and events
¨       Represents ENSU at fairs and forums on and off campus

2nd Year Representative

¨       Must be in 2nd year of her/his undergraduate
¨       Must be in one of the following programs: Geography, Innis College or 
Division of the Environment environmental studies program
¨       Represents individuals in 2nd year in all three environmental studies 
programs at U of T and their interests
¨       Makes announcements in various courses (core or target courses) 
throughout the year
¨       Expose ENSU and ENSU activities to 2nd year students
¨       Encourage and recruit keen volunteers within 2nd year to assist in 
coordinating and carrying out ENSU projects/events

If you are interested please be at the meeting by 8pm and be prepared to give a 
brief 2-minute (maximum) summary as to why you feel you are the best candidate 
and how you will contribute to the Environmental Students? Union.  You are also 
required to give notice by Thursday 12pm that you are interested in taking part 
in this bi-election.  Simply email utorensu@xxxxxxxx with the subject heading 
as ?Election? and your name and the position for which you are applying in the 
body of the email.
