Hi there,

thanks everyone (especially Tom for fixing and Grégory for explaining).
I'm having a lot of these files (and sometimes directories) on my
filesystem. Most of the time these are music files (my FLACed music
collection).

For example the Star Wars soundtracks have a lot of tracks consisting of
multiple scenes, so they are named like this:
Carbon Freeze / Darth Vader's Trap / Departure of Boba Fett

I can input this as vorbis comment tag so it shows up correctly in all
media players, but I can't name the filename with these slashes - so I'm
replacing the / with ~, so the filename becomes:
209 Carbon Freeze ~ Darth Vader's Trap ~ Departure of Boba Fett.flac

In my opinion it looks best this way. I don't want to use dashes or
comma, this simply doesn't look 'good' when browsing the filesystem.
Also sometimes the titles already include dashes...

I checked how bash handles the ~ character. Expansion is not done when
the ~ is contained in a string surrounded by "

And keep up the good work with emelf2m :-)

Regards,
Tobias
