Can you please provide some more details about exactly what you were doing 
before the hang. I can't replicate the problem, nor see any obvious reason for 
it. So, more clues should help.

set or add or remove ?

recurse directory or not ?

recurse non-directory or not ?

more than 1 selected item ?

entitled to change permissions or not ?

same file-system or not ?
