Unable to open directories

Hi, I suddenly find myself unable to enter any directories in the new
0.7.3 version, with either doubleclick, rightclick->open or
rightclick->open in other. Any advice on how to debug? This is not
because of the 0.7.3 version, since I had been using that successfully
for a while before this problem appeared. This problem appeared after
a crash, possibly something in the configs got corrupted? It looks as
normal in the configuration dialog at least.
