I'm a big fan of emelfm2 and have been running it under Fedora 16+E17.
Lately it has been crashing tho. Any idea when there will be a new release?

Which version are you using? Can you describe what you do when crashes
happen? Additionally, can you send the log or a backtrace?

Liviu,

I can do just about anything to get it to segfault. This is new behavior that's started with F16 updates sometime around Febuary or so. Prior to that, there was not a problem and it was rock solid. Version here is 0.8.0-1.

The following resulted from a simple copy operation from pane to pane. Here's what the DE kicked out:

_______________________________________
Error Signal Information:
emelfm2 was interrupted by a Segmentation Fault.

Output Data:
        There was no output

Error Logs:
        There was no error message

There is more info from dmesg output:

[443659.894322] emelfm2[26519]: segfault at 8 ip 00007f351a0cf25c sp 00007f350975c780 error 6 in libglib-2.0.so.0.3000.2[7f351a06f000+11e000]

Breaking News: The Fedora Maintainer has just emailed me with a new test build. I'm going to update and reevaluate to see if it has an impact on the problem.
