To confirm this last one, I also noticed at several occasions that
emel stopped refreshing the file list and failed to report correct
size values. I never managed to track a particular behaviour, though.

emelfm2-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field or by
logging into the web interface.
