Just across the French Broad from UNCA, I've not had any Pine Siskin, but I've been pleasantly surprised by the more than occasional sightings of Brown Creepers in my yard. I have a scrub pine with some sort of bark bare spot which is a reliable spot for Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and the spot is also attracting Golden and Ruby crowned Kinglets.
