Greetings, EMASers!
Today we were doing some field work along the Blue Ridge Parkway and ran
across these little darlings in a ground nest under dense cover about 10
feet from the road's edge. We were in oak-hickory forest around 2500 feet
in elevation, not far from the Folk Arts Center.
Any guesses on species?
