Friends,
I was treated this morning to several migrants in my yard and adjacent
property. Six warblers (BTBlue, BTGreen, A.Redstart, Magnolia, Chestnut-sided,
and possibly a Pine), Red-eyed Vireo(2), Scarlet Tanager(4), Blue-gray
Gnatcatcher, Acadian Flycatcher, and Cedar Waxwing. All species were hungry.
The feeding began before 8:00 AM and lasted an hour or so. Some of the photos
were taken in fog that rolled in and out early. I need help with the last
warbler photo #5 of 6: is it a Pine, maybe a Cape May, or even a Blackburnian??
Those fall warblers can be tricky for us novices.
The activity today makes me wonder is things are beginning to pick up?
