A quick trip this morning to Lake Osceola revealed 11 species of waterbirds. The highlight among them was a Wilson Snipe poking its long bill into the mud looking for food. Other waterfowl observed were: Greater/Lesser Scuap, Pied-billed Grebe, Gadwall, Ring-necked, Bufflehead, Mallard, Canada Goose, Green-winged Teal, American Coot, and Great Blue Heron. Photos of some are attached. Alan Lenk
