[EMAS] Exciting birds at Beaver Lake

There are or were 3 Long-tailed Ducks (2 M, 1 F) and 4 Red-necked Grebes on
Beaver Lake as of 12:30. Virginia S. has good pictures of the Grebes and will
share them soon.
Other ducks included:
American Wigeon - 1
Common Merganser - still there
Hooded Merganser 1 M, 1 F
Ring-necked Duck - 2 F
Ruddy Ducks - 3
What a day.
In the Sanctuary near the below the ecopond and just above South Creek, I saw 2
Field Sparrows. Almost every year I see one or two Field Sparrows at BLBS but
always in the fall. These are the first I've seen in the spring.
