Several red-headed woodpeckers and an adult bald eagle were highlights at Biltmore Estate today. I wonder if any people on the Terrace happened to look up and see the eagle soaring near the house. Below is a list from a little birding near the Deer Park Trail where others have recently been reporting RHWOs. I also had 2 additional red-headed woodpeckers in the white oak woodland off the Deer Park Restaurant parking lot.
