[EMAS] Beaver Lake 2/24

Hi All,
Just got back from Beaver Lake, Tree Swallows have arrived. Had 5
flying over
the lake and checking out the gourd boxes.
Other highlights 1 Grackle, 10 Red-winged Blackbirds.
We now have TWO Screech Owls!!!
There is a red phased Owl in the new box, great views from the path
looking down on
the stream below the drainage pond!!!
Virginia, Diane, and myself checked to make sure both boxes were
ocuppied.
The new owl has a lot of marbling as far as face feathers go, very fine
looking bird!!
Not sure how long it has been here, hopefully the traffic on the trail
will not disturb it
and it will stay a while!!

I had one Cabbage White at a traffic light near Beaver Lake, also had
two at
the same place yesterday.
