Well i bought metro when it first came out and it sucks. They replaced
all under warranty.
The roof rail is way too hard but the door ones are doable. You have to
tape the corners for months for them to take proper shape.

       I'd go soff seal.

Subject: [elky] Weatherstrip

I was looking at This special though Dixie Monte Carlo Depot -
78-88 Door Weatherstrip 1978-1988 Monte Carlo, Malibu (2dr), & El Camino
reproduction door weatherstrip set (pair).
  Part # DM60003 PAIRREPRO Price: $55.00
What brand are these? I put on OEM on my 1984 El Camino and they cracked
within months of installation. I have heard that Soft Seal are good. Not
crazy about Chinese products. I will consider these if US made.

Thanks for the info,
JC
