Geri keeps looking at the MGs and triumphs at the swapmeets... All I see is a pile of rust. But I think she would really enjoy some little brit car one of these days. They sell for dirt cheap usually too. I'd want to put something like an Ecotec drivetrain in it though. And an auto. I spend more time and money repairing standards and am tired of it... Crappy tiny clutches with springs that pop out and bad pressure plates as well as poor quality throwout bearings. I am ending up spending more in parts to fix the stick trans in the PT cruiser than an auto rebuild would have cost. I guess that's what happens when you have Mercedes design the engine and then have CHrysler and mitsubishi build it. Talk about a bad combo, all are known for poor durability and lots of $repairs. Got a thing in the mail... From a kia dealer. Says we'll pay you top dollar for your 06 PT cruiser. Hmm. I'd rather have a KIA than the PT.
