I remember having to pass that dang swallow test after my open heart surgeries
... NOT fun. Has she had it & passed yet ... or still waiting?
Thoughts/prayers continuing, of course.

Thanks she appreciates it. Hopefully she passes her swallow test and can eat
real food as she is really not liking everything as smooth and the same color
as playdough not to mention the smell and taste. They have to have a huge motor
on their blender to get the food that smooth.

Oh really like the Internet on the plane. I use it every time
since I get it free. Great for passing the time. Texting on the phone too since
tmobile has the agreement with gogo now. Just wish they could get the speed up
to stream video. Dinner on the plane interrupted my email writing the other
night...

Glad you made it home, even if just barely, Robert. Glad the house closed &
the condo was paid off ... that helps ease some of it. Thoughts/prayers
continuing, of course.

Glad you made it home. Sounds like you have mom set up pretty well. Continued
prayers for her to improve.

She appreciates it. We barely made it home. If we hadn't we would have been
there another week till the kids were back in school. The end of august is the
worst time of year to fly. Once school starts it's way easier. She took the
jump seat and I got the last first class seat on the plane. Just finished my
tortellini and a couple Jacks and coke... Had my drinks now on orange juice
cause I don't drink it much at home.

She is going to spend most of next month there since it's her vacation
month. She can work it to get allot of time there. I'll head up around the 20th
and be there about a week since we aren't going on vacation this year. The good
news is her mom's house closed Friday then the title transferred today as well
as all of the utilities. So the condo she bought it now paid off and she has a
little left over.

Looks really good. I will be getting my elky moved to our house when the heat
is over for the year.

Still here in Cleveland but may have to make a stop in Chicago on the way
home tomorrow as the flights are pretty full to dfw tomorrow.

Told John yesterday that her mom had a stroke Tuesday morning. Her
brother got her to the hospital a couple hours after it happened when he found
her in the house. They got the clot out and she had no feling or movement on
her left limbs. Today she is already moving her leg well and moving her arm and
has feeling back as well as a decent grip already.

Luckily Geri's brother works in the basement (blood testing)of the
hospital and can check on her any time.

Will be back here for a week next month instead of vacation this year.
Geri will be up most of the month to take care of her cause Sept is her
vacation month. I think her mom will be back at home by the middle of next
month the way she is progressing.
