[elky] I got wheels!

I finally found the last Space-Saver wheel for the race car:



It seems like it took forever, chasin down different places, sloggin thru the mud, lookin under cars and trucks....and finally one guy offered to help me out...he saw that the guy (Senor Ruben) was totally lost as to what I needed and took it on himself to find one.  Took him most of the afternoon, so I gave him a little tip when I picked the thing up today.  I sure appreciate his help.



Here are the 2 wheels for the front with the brand-new Moon discs set on 'em.  I need to remove the tire from the latest find (it came from a Grand Prix) have the mounting tabs welded on, then paint 'em and get the Front Runners mounted so I can put 'em on the front of the car.  The rear wheels (same thing, but the tires will be larger) are still in Oregon, but they'll get here eventually.  Then we'll go thru the same hoop-jumping exercise to get 'em ready to run.

Last nite I removed the stereo and heater control:



That's where the switch panel for the ignition box and fan (and anything else I need to switch) will go.

I better get back to work.
