I have reservations at the Vestal NY Quality Inn with the New York Monte Carlo 
Club for the Binghamton NY event, August 6-7!


I am looking at places to stay along the rest of the road trip, including in 
Detroit MI ... Boston MA ... Philadelphia PA/Neptune NJ/Baltimore MD ... 
Pittsburgh PA....


Anyone have any route suggestions for me to take?

I certainly appreciate the links, but I'm not looking to sitesee around there, 
per se.  Neptune ... because that's where I'll be meeting up with friends, like

I'm starting to look at routes to take for this road trip and should be able to 
post a possible path for the drive sometime soon.




In doing so, I've read about US Route 6 [another route I want to travel the 
length of ... "someday"] in Pennsylvania.  If I have time, I'm thinking of 
taking one of 3 routes to "touch" US Route 6 across PA from Ohio to Binghamton 
NY...
...I-80 E ... PA 66 ... PA 321 ... US 6 E ... US 220 ... I-86 E
(or)
...I-79 N ... US 6 E ... US 220 ... I-86 E
(or)
...i-80 E ... PA 219 N ... US 6 E ... US 220 ... I-86 E


Thoughts on any of these possibilities?




After traveling Route 66 (September 2009), I really want to travel other 
routes, including US Route 6, US Route 20 (which cuts right through my home 
town), the Lincoln Highway, and others.  Heck, I'd love to drive Route 66 
again....  But, not enough vacation time right now...dangumit.

You would do better to go a little further south down the parkway, headout to 
Point Pleasant and drive south along the ocean to SeasideHeights. (half and 
hour).  While in Seaside take a walk on theboardwalk and see the carousels at 
either end.  both are old, stunningand worth a ride.

 Get back on the parkway and head south to AC.  Don't miss Trumps TajMahal.  
It's a hoot with the decor.  And don't miss Lucy in the nexttown down from AC -

deserted dump.  

And you're getting into the Pine Barrens down there. Watch out for theJersey
