Topics include, and are not limited to, - Analytical and data-mining approaches and methods to study self- and co-regulation of learning. - Development and evaluation of visualizations that help learners and researchers understand regulation of learning. - Assessment and modelling of self-regulated learning - Technology-learner and learner-learner interactions in self-, external-, and co-regulation of learning - Using technology and data to evaluate and support self-regulated learning and metacognition, and to support life-long learning. - The relationship between regulation, metacognition, and motivation in the context of educational technologies. - Studying and supporting regulation of learning in informal settings. - Regulation of learning in video games. - Identifying and supporting productive patterns of engagement in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and other settings of learning-at-scale.
