David, though I think Deborah Moggach is much better, so wouldn't really mix
them up, I sometimes get their titles muddled and I think it's because in
the very early days of Bookworms we read the Distance Between Us very close
to the time when we read Moggach's These Foolish Things, which became the
Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Might give the new O'Farrell a go after all as I
remember the summer of 1976 vividly, the extreme heat and lack of water and
meeting Voldi being among the things that stand out. Clare
