I have not read Ann granger but know she has written quite a few books.
I may well give this one a try myself.

Thanks for the Ann Granger book.
I have read some of her Fran Varidy novels and enjoyed them, they are rather
quirky.
I read another of hers about a civil servant solving a crime and was rather
disappointed as it was rather ordinary when compared with the Fran Varidy
books.
I don't know about this one.
