Thanks George for setting me straight.

Hi Don,

No, it's simply a page which can optionally be produced at the start of
a job to identify the file which has been embossed.

It's mainly intended for busy production units where one or more people
are embossing to the same embosser.

George.

Jean:

In Duxbury embosser setup, there is a setting called emboss banner page.
I thought that was sideways embossing. Maybe someone can clarify that.

Don,

I've never seen an embosser setting for landscape mode, and I don't see
anything in the Thomas menus for the orientation of Braille.

        What about landscape mode?

        Ah, hi Julianne,

So we can hope for something better? I'll play with single sheet
feed, though, and see if I can get the results I want.

        Thanks.

Hi Jean. Single sheet mode and hand feeding through the
embosser is the only way I know.

I'm using a Thomas embosser from Enabling Technologies.

Is there any way in DBT to have a page emboss so that
the Braille runs the other direction? I would like a few lines of
Braille to be along the hole punch edge, similar to how you would place
a label.

I think this would be embosser dependent as well, but
I'm wondering if DBT can support it and how I might do it if it is at
all possible.
