Northwest Vista College in Texas has a distance education program to become
transcriber. It is a 1 year program and by the end you will have completed
your NLS certification, learned textbook transcriber formatting, and learn
some about how to run your own business.
There is also information on the AFB website about becoming a transcriber.
Go to AFB.org and search braille transcriber.
