Hi, Laura. I'll second what Lucia says. While he was at Sighted Electronics, he repaired my Everest-D twice and did an excellent job both times. Glad to know he's still around. I'll e-mail him myself to see if he services the kind of embosser I have, though it doesn't need it right now (knock on wood and cross fingers, toes, and heart that it'll keep working fine.) A block of cells is being left blank in each line. I experimented with a full page (25 lines) of 40 full cells and the first 19 cells are embossed as are the last 14 cells of each line. There is a block of 7 cells which are not embossed. The Braille that is produced is correctly formed and aligned. There is simply a column 7 cells wide without Braille. When embossing text from a file produced for one of my customers the text that should appear in those 7 cells is skipped as if I had a series of 7 blank cells in my file. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a similar experience as to how it was resolved. Thank you. Laura J. Brauer Cat's Meow Braille Transcription P. O.
