Hi Sherry,

I presume you mean Unified English Braille (UEB) which BANA agreed to adopt the
literary version of, but stay with Nemeth Code.

This is already taken care of in DBT. Simply select the "English (Unified) -
Basic" Template when you start a new document.

For existing documents, simply open the pre-translated *.dxp file, go to DBT's
Document Menu and select "Translation Tables". From the list select, "English
(Unified) - Basic" and re-translate.

George.

Hello-
I just received a booklet listing the changes made by BANA concerning the
Braille code.
Several important codes are being eliminated. how are the Braille programs
supposed to adjust in order to accept the changes?
The symbols or characters/contractions include: ally, ble, ation, by, dd, into,
com, o'clock, and the joining of "of, with, and the". I think it is unnecessary
since I am a transcriber as well as a Braille reader.
Regards, Sherry
