Thanks John, that's probably what I'll do, and it's sort of in line with what 
UEB does to show accents in that they all start with dots four five.

Cannot comment on UEB but in British Braille I would use the same as for
Angstrom symbol - cells 4,5 followed immediately by cell 1 - no doubt
George will correct me if I am wrong.

I have a book I'm transcribing in UEB and have come across a swedish
accent I don't know how to produce. It looks like an a with a circle
above it. Does anyone know how to show this in UEB?
