Hi Annette, No, not quite. I think you're confusing the braille number sign which is as you say, dots 3456. That hasn't changed. What is being talked about is the print number sign or crosshatch. Formerly, this symbol was dot 4 followed by 3456. Now it is 456 3456. This sign formerly was not part of literary braille, but now it is.
