I don't know what it's called, but it happens here too. Most irritating. I suspect an insect of some sort. I am having a problem selecting several lines of text in a DXP file that I want to apply the "h1" style too. I will eventually translate this file into DXB after I get it formatted the way I want it. What happens is when I get to the first line of text I want to select, press the shift key and start to down arrow to select the lines of text, JAWS starts speaking parts of the selected text and won't stop, even when I press the control key to silence it. JAWS won't tell me if the text I want to select is selected. This doesn't happen all of the time, just once in a while. Does anyone know what might be going on here?
