Hi Scott,
The Skip Perforation setting determines whether the embosser will skip over
the perforations and go to the next page. This is useful if there are no
explicit formfeeds between pages, and you want to make sure you don't
emboss on the perforations. When using DBTW, however, you can leave this
setting turned off because DBTW inserts a formfeed at the end of each page.
The Top-of-Form setting tells the embosser how far to advance from the top
of the page before starting to emboss. You need to set top-of-form so the
embosser will begin printing at an acceptable spot on the page. When
printing 25 lines per page, I set top-of-form to 5, which means that
embossing will start a half inch from the top of the page. If you print
more than 25 lines per page, you may want to change this to 4 or 3. Once
you've set top-of-form, you won't have to change anything in Duxbury.

Hello listers,
I'm looking for some information about the Juliet Pro embosser. I am using it in conjunction with the Duxbury Translator version 10.3. The problem I am currently encountering is that the braille is too close to the top of pages when embossing. I have gone through the process of adjusting the perf skip by entering menu one and pressing 11.1. However, this didn't alleviate the problem so I was able to locate information that suggested I might need to change the top of form setting in tenths of an inch, but I'm unclear on whether that is the same thing I did with 11.1 or if it is a different setting. Can anyone help? Also, if there are any adjustments that need to be made on the Duxbury side of things, could you please pass those along?
Thanks, Scott
