Rick,
If you modify the List style by removing the [kps] and [kpe] codes, this
problem will go away. I've never understood why these codes are part of
the List style, and find that they are, more often than not, a source of
annoyance and frustration. In essence, these two codes tell DBT to keep
everything within the list on a single page if possible, which means that a
heading above the list will force a page break before the list starts.

I have a document in which I have used the heading 1 style. I've not noticed this before, but the three lines of the heading print at the top of the page and then Duxbury goes to a totally new page to begin the new page which is set up as an exercise (which I modified from the list style.) How can I solve this problem?
