The main scanning software is OmniPage Pro, version 10. I don't know about now, but back when they switched to version 11, we started having problems at school so went back to 10. Lately, I have been using the Acquire Text option a lot--Duxbury does a very good job of recognizing text. This didn't happen until we installed version 10.7 of Duxbury. Before that, we were using 10.4.
