[duxhelp] Re: screen not refreshing after hyphenating a word

Hi Peter,

I have managed to make it happen repeatedly, and I think I
know the cause. (I used sample.wp6 30 cells wide for my
test)

It only appears to occur only where the hyphen would be in
the LAST column.

The following should be displaying "civ-" with "il" on the
line below.

FWIW the yellow translation bar is correct.

I can only hope that the attached arrives in replicable
shape. Cursor should be on line 19 column 4 - simply press
the hyphen key.

George.

Rebecca,

Thanks for letting me know.

The word "occasionally" always makes me nervous. I've tried
to replicate
what I think you're reporting without any luck. But I only
tried about ten
lines in a new document. Your case is presumably very
different.

Is "the previous line" in your example at the top of the
screen? Is the
document large enough that it has an enabled and useful
vertical scrollbar?

More importantly, can you replicate the problem in a
particular file and
sequence that you can use to show me more precisely what's
going wrong?

- Peter

Hi there,

Occasionally, when I insert a hyphen to divide a word
between lines (in a
braille document), the first portion of the word disappears
at the end of
the previous line until I move the screen away from the line
and back again.

Rebecca
