I've yet to try replicating the problem.  But where I've seen missing cursor
problems in the past, the cursor locator has remained working.

Yes Sean.  I can now replicate here.

For Peter's information, the cursor locator (tapping the shift key) does
show where it should be.

step 4b...  using the mouse, grab the vertical scroll bar, and scroll down
in the help item.

then proceed to step 5.

step 4b is apparently the critical step.  sorry about that.
