I like it!! I like the idea of the Shadow Lords, but also that they aren't all evil. Quasit fits in perfectly here and his Chaotic Good alignment is very fitting; especially against the NE and N alignments of the other gods. Very cool. -----Original Message----- From: Johnathan Detrick [mailto:jdetrick@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2002 4:11 PM To: Riders II Subject: [dungeoncrawl] The Shadow Lords I'm thinking of those that work from the shadows, for both good and evil. * Talon (lesser) NE: God of poisons and assassinations * Shadow (lesser) NE: God of silence and shadows * Gammenon (lesser) N: God of disguise, forgery and business contracts; Patron of Spies * Quasit (lesser) CG: God of forethought, investigation and planning Notice that I made Gammenon neutral. He was always more neutral than evil anyway. I also thought that it would serve as a bridge to Quasit. Quasit is tenuous here at best. I think of him because he tends to flit around the back alleys and dark corners that the others inhabit, even though his responsibilities don't always have to do with shadows. It just seemed like we needed some gods to inhabit the dark corners of the world. Help me out! Jim is so much better at this than I!
