Noticed you message to the list regarding the Pine Apple Inn and your interest
in the history of Maylands. Wonder if you know when house numbers came into
existence in the area. On so may records my husbands great grandparents Michael
and Maria McBride's residence is listed as Seventh Avenue Maylands but nothing
I have ever found lists a house number. Michael died in 1913 and Maria in 1916.
Seems strange that there is no record of a house number, Seventh Ave isn't a
small street. Would love to have been able to identify exactly where their home
was.
