[dokuwiki] link to a pdf file

Hi everyone,
I try to set a link to summary.pdf, which is located in the "media" dir.
I tried [[{{summary.pdf}}| a Summary]], [[/dokuwiki/media/summary.pdf| a
Summary]] together with "Updated Mod" from wiki:tips, but no avail.
In wiki:syntax I read "If you specify a filename (external or internal)
that is not an image (gif,jpeg,png), then it will be displayed as a link
instead."
It shows as a link, but the Acrobat Reader keeps telling me that the file
is empty or broken (which it isn't, I can open it from konqueror).
Using some images works fine, uploading, using {{...}} to embed, and the
images show up. "Image Links" work fine, too.
May someone give me a hint please?
