Yeah, maybe 'better' was the wrong word, i just tried to throw in some ideas.
And the only tests i did were on a 400-bogomips machine where some regex are
faster than iterating through the whole file.
Anyway, since the result is cached in DW there wouldn't be any improvement at
all.

No, not yet... I'll invest some time if there is interrest.
