Dear all,
Among the files and directories in dokuwiki (located in /srv/www/htdocs in
my machine) only conf/ and data/ directories have "chmod -R 750 data/" and
"chown wwwrun data/ -R".
The warning security alert stating that my data is not properly secured is
in my admin page, also the
http://yourserver.com/data/pages/wiki/dokuwiki.txt is accessible for both
user and admin which is not a good sign.
Fist, I adjusted the ownership of dokuwiki.txt to root, but the problem is
still here.
Then, I followed the remedies in dokuwiki/Security pages and moved out the
conf/, data/, and bin/ directories to my "/home/usr/.../wiki" out of
DocRoot, and carefully created and changed the inc/preload.php and
conf/local.php accordingly. I even checked the ownership and mods of
directories in the new place to be as should be.
Now, the wiki page can not be found and the "The datadir ('pages') at
./data/pages is not found, isn't accessible or writable. You should check
your config and permission settings. Or maybe you want to run the
installer?" shows up in browser.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
