[dokuwiki] Re: Template

I have this exact need too, such that a template will "trickle down" (from the root it's placed in) through the hierarchy, and continue to do so as sub-namespaces are added/changed/removed... 

There are some notes on that page
(http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:namespace_templates) outlining a small
code modification that will activate this functionality (heading "Hierarchical _template.txt"). I have not tried it yet though. 

I'm wondering if this will eventually be the default behavior for
Dokuwiki (to include this code adjustment)? Seems like a common need.

Almost. Is it possible to have a global _template.txt instead of per
namespace? If not, I can copy the template in each namespace.
