This sounds very interesting.
I also run some sites where both owncloud/nextcloud and DW are
installed, and I find it very annoying that if you use the browsers's
password safe even current Firefox or Chrome save only the base URL,
without the directory.
For example, with these services
www.my.site/owncloud
www.my.site/dokuwiki
you need to have the same user name and password for both services, or
the get the owncloud user/pw even if you access DW, or vice versa.
So (optionally) having the same login for both services sounds like a
good idea.
