[dokuwiki] Changind default syntax to Markdown

Hi all,
My goal is to change the default wiki syntax to Markdown.
Yes, I am aware that there will be no way of generating TOC,
using some syntax plugins, etc, etc. Thats no problem for me,
since now every page in my wiki is in format:
====== Header ======
<markdown> content </markdown>
I looked at render plugins, but it seems it`s not the way, so
propably I have to modify the dokiwiki code.
Any ideas where to start?
