The Dads' Club puts on the Father Daughter Dance each year and it's always a
lot of fun for everyone. The dance is on February 6 this year so we have
about 4 weeks to get everything together.
We need six volunteers to buy and deliver things to the school, plus help set
up. Any expenses will be reimbursed by the PTO.
Party City (1 dad)
Need to buy a tablecloths, balloons, etc at Party City and have them at the
school no later than 2:00 p.m. the day of the dance. Will need to help set
up for the dance.
Walmart/Target (1 dad)
Buy cups, napkins, plates, etc and have them at the school no later than 2:00
p.m. the day of the dance. Will need to help set up for the dance.
Food Volunteers (4 dads)
Need to buy and pick up food (Chik-fil-a & other snacks) and have them at the
school no later than 2:00 p.m. the day of the dance. Will need to help set
up for the dance.
One or two dads may want to stay and help during the dance. Nothing too
strenuous -- refill the punch bowl, etc.
Anyone else who wants to help set up would be welcome! We'll start setting
up around 2:00. I would recommend that any dads with daughters shouldn't
volunteer, since you might want to be at the dance with your date. :-)
