you can use enter/exit switchpoints and there's also the settings on the
right hand side of the boundaries tab where you can select how the segments
align if there are no switchpoints (at any time, at measure etc).
the quick response / after prepare time setting might also have something to
do with it

Has any of you found the alignToSegment a little slow?
The primary is 2 bars and has notes on the first beat of each bar. The
secondary segment (also 2 bars) has notes beat 3 of each bar.
When I do "segment2.play IsSecondary + AlignToSegment" just after beat 1 I
won't hear any of the notes in segment2 until the 2nd bar.
Very frustrating because it makes my score seriously unresponsive
I've got a few Ideas as a workaround, but they're hardly ideal
