First call for papers
Dear colleague,
The Finance Research Group (FINS) of Vrije Universiteit Brussel is pleased
to announce a fourth edition of the workshop entitled: Recent developments
in dependence modelling with applications in finance and insurance. It will
take place on Monday May 22nd and Tuesday May 23rd, 2017. The venue will be
a hotel on the island of Aegina (close to Athens and can be easily reached
by boat).
The list of confirmed invited speakers is as follows:
- Hansjoerg Albrecher (HEC Lausanne, Switzerland)
- Valeria Bignozzi (University of Roma, Italy)
- Arthur Charpentier (University of Rennes 1, France)
- Roger Cooke (Technical University Delft, the Netherlands)
- Christian Genest (University of McGill, Canada)
- Elisa Luciano (Collegio Carlo Alberto and University of Torino,
Italy)
- Alex McNeil (York management school, University of York, UK)
- Guillen Montserrat (University of Barcelona, Spain)
- Emiliano Valdez (University of Connecticut, US)
In addition, there will be sessions with contributed talks. If you would
like to present a paper, please submit a title and a one-page abstract, and,
if possible, a full paper before December 24th to demoworkshop2017@xxxxxxxxx
You will be informed about the acceptance of your proposal no later than
January 15th, 2017.
