[ DeLUG ] :: Any Flash/Actionscript hackers on the list?

I've been looking to get my feet into Actionscript for Flash
animation, but alas, DeVry didn't teach it, so I figured it wasn't
important. ;)
I could use some pointers, as documentation I've found seems to
riddled with film editing jargon and not intended for real
programmers...
